Prime Minister Hun Sen left Cambodia for a four-day official working visit in Japan from Aug. 6-9, 2017. Prime Minister Hun Sen will hold a summit meeting with H.E. Shinzo Abe, Japanese Prime Minister, and before proceeding to a Joint Press Announcement, the two Prime Ministers will preside over the signing ceremony of two documents on Japanese assistance to Cambodia – a Grant Aid of Yen 3,948 million, approximately US$35 million for the implementation of the Project for Flood Protection and Drainage Improvement in Phnom Penh Capital City (Phase IV), and a Concessional Loan of Yen 23,502 million, approximately US$209 million for implementing the Sihanoukville Port New Container Terminal Development Project.
