South Korean Ambassador Bids Farewell to Cambodian NA President
AKP Phnom Penh, January 24, 2012 –
Outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cambodia H.E. Chang Ho-jin yesterday bid farewell to Cambodian National Assembly (NA) President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin.
On the occasion, H.E. Chang Ho-jin expressed his profound thanks to the NA and the royal government for their support to his successful diplomatic mission, H.E. Korm Kosal, Chief of Cabinet of the NA president told reporters upon the meeting.
H.E. Chang Ho-jin, who has been recently appointed as political assistant to President of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Lee Myung-bak, pledged to continue to further strengthen and expand the ties of friendship and cooperation between South Korea and Cambodia.
For his part, Samdech Heng Samrin congratulated H.E. Chang Ho-jin on his new position and highly valuated the good ties of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples and countries during the ambassador’s diplomatic mission to the Kingdom.
The NA president deeply thanked the South Korean government and people for their assistance to Cambodian human resource training, and for their grants and loans to the development of Cambodia’s infrastructure, etc.
On the same day, the outgoing South Korean ambassador was also received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance H.E. Keat Chhon.
The Cambodian deputy prime minister expressed his satisfaction with the financing and technical cooperation between both countries.
