Deputy Prime Minister HOR Namhong meets with Executive Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
On 9 March 2006, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister HOR Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation met with His Excellency Mr. Lee Hyun Ju, Executive Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
His Excellency Mr. Lee Hyun Ju told that his visit to Cambodia was to find possibility that Korea can help Cambodia in future. He also thanked His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister HOR Namhong for encouraging and supporting the KOICA personnel working in Cambodia.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister HOR Namhong warmly welcomed the visit to Cambodia of the Korean delegation and expressed deep thanks to the government of Korea and KOICA for providing assistance to Cambodia. He requested KOICA to choose one district in Kampong Cham Province as pilot development project. He also asked the Korean side to consider the proposal made by the Royal Government of Cambodia concerning “ Flood Control in Batheay” and “Master Plan on small and Medium Irrigation’’ projects.
