Summary	Cambodia received approximately $8 million from the Mekong-Lanchang Cooperation (MLC)’s special fund for 20 development projects. The projects will cover capacity building, education, poverty reduction, women empowerment, culture, tourism, media exchange, environment, water resources and production capacity. The MLC Special Fund 2020 is funded by China to support social development in Mekong river nations. It is part of a five-year plan, first initiated in 2018, to promote mutual trust, broaden cooperation and deepen partnerships.
