AKP Phnom Penh, November 30, 2018 --
The Japanese government has agreed to provide US$353,276 in total to support the development of three main fields, including health, education, and agriculture in Cambodia, according to a news release from the Embassy of Japanese in Phnom Penh.
The financial support was made under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects.
Of the total amount, US$88,995 will be given to Kampong Speu Provincial Department of Water Resources and Meteorology, US$87,304 for Takeo Provincial Department of Health, US$89,162 for Kandal Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sports, and US$87,810 for Kampong Cham Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Japanese is one of the biggest donors to Cambodia.
