Brief News: [National Road No. 11 and Bypass Road, total length of 96.48 Km be reconstructed using the national budget and a concessional loan from China, more than US$94 million]:
The reconstruction project of National Road No. 11 and a bypass road of a total length of 96.48 kilometers, linking Prey Veng province to Thbong Khmum province, connecting Neak Loeung junction with National Road No. 1 Prey Veng province to Thnal Totoeung junction with National Road No. 7 Thbong Khmum province, will be reconstructed using the national budget and a concessional loan from China at an estimated cost of more than US$94 million. Until now, for the infrastructure construction projects funded by China, 23 road projects of 2,301 kilometers worth US$1,300 million and seven bridges of 6,824 meters worth US$216 million have been completed, while six road projects of 600 kilometers of US$490 million and a bridge project (Stung Trang-Kroch Chmar bridge whose construction began last month) are under construction. For 2018, China also supported two projects – the improvement of National Road No. 3 and the construction of the third capital city belt road of 187 kilometers worth some US$483 million in total.
