The Republic of Korea is an important development partner of Cambodia. Currently, Korea provided grant aid on four areas such as Infrastructure, Agriculture and Rural Development, Health, and Human Resource Development. In 2014, the ODA disbursement reached US$82 million which is significant increase if comparing to US$16 million disbursed in 2009. This indicates the commitment of the Republic of Korea in development cooperation even though Cambodia is now moving from low-income to achieving a lower-middle income status. The Royal Government highly appreciates the good partnership and cooperation between the two countries and the Royal Government is also grateful to the Government of the Republic of Korea and the Korean people for providing the invaluable assistance to support the Royal Government’s efforts towards achieving its socio-economic development goals and poverty reduction.
