Japan’s Aid of nearly US$100 Thousand for Pursat’s Irrigation System Improvement Project
Japanese government has granted $US99, 221 to water resources and meteorology department in Pursat for the irrigation improvement projects. The signing ceremony was held between Hiroshi Kawamura, Chargé d’Affairs of Japan Embassy to Cambodia and Mr. Keo Vey, Director of water resources and meteorology department, on 20 March 2012 at the Embassy. The aid will help the department to repair canal with total length of 2,100 meters and build drainage channels to pump water into rice field in four places, water block constructions in two places and another canal of 1,050 meters.
