Spain Grants over €200 Thousand to Cambodian Mine Action Centre

Spain awarded the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) €271, 220 through the so-called Handicap International Organization in order to assist in the explosive remnants of war clearance projects, having been launched from 1 October 2011 to 31 December 2012, in three provinces- Kampong Cham, Svay Rieng and Kratie. The signing ceremony was held yesterday between CMAC’s Director General, Mr. Heng Ratana, and Director of Handicap International, Mr. Joroen Stol. (Rasmei Kam, February 14, 2012.)
