As a matter of the fact that H.E. Mr. Chang Hojin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cambodia, has been appointed as the Foreign Policy Aide to the President since 19 January 2012 and will leave for Seoul to assume the new assignment soon, he, in a hurry, bid farewell to Samdech Heng Samrin, NA President, on 23 January 2012 at the NA Palace. Ambassador Chang expressed his deep thanks to Samdech Heng Samrin, the government and National Assembly, supporting him to successfully complete his diplomatic mission in Cambodia. He affirmed his commitment to further strengthening and enhancing Cambodia-Korea’s friendship and cooperation. Samdech Heng Samrin warmly welcomed and congratulated the Ambassador for his new position and highly appreciated his active mission in Cambodia, adding that, during his mandate in Cambodia, Ambassador Chang had boosted and bettered the relation and cooperation between the two countries and people especially the visit exchange for all ranks. Meanwhile, Samdech Heng Samrin was also deeply thankful to Korean people and government for its great assistances for Cambodia such as human resource training, employment permit for Cambodian people, grant aid and soft loans for various development projects like infrastructure, dam, irrigation system and so on.
