Ministry of Rural Development Inspects Outcomes of Training Program under Cooperation with Korea
Ministry of Rural Development in association with KOICA and technical support from the Korean Rural Community Corporation (KRC) yesterday conducted a workshop underlining outcomes of Training of Trainers (TOT) Program under the multi-year progress on rural development of Cambodia at Intercontinental Hotel. There were 140 participants from the ministry and representatives from KOICA and KRC. Addressing the welcome remark, Dr. Shin Eui Cheol, KOICA Representative, recalled the history of cooperation between Cambodia and Republic of Korea on 4 sectors: 1. Education, 2. Agriculture, 3. Health and 4. Physical infrastructure development. This training program, under cooperation between Korea through KOICA and Cambodia, is established for the sake of educational development in Cambodia. Also, it is the first training program that Korean experts have involved in the program implementation for officials at the Ministry of Rural Development, he resumed. (Kampuchea Thmey.)
