Republic of Korea to financially and technically continue Supporting Cambodia’s Development

H.E. Mr. Chang Ho-Jin, Korean Ambassador to Cambodia, assures the government of the Republic of Korea will continue supporting Cambodia’s development both financially and technically in the future, said the Ministry of Economy and Finance. After the loan agreement signing ceremony, DPM Keat Chhon met with H.E Chang Ho-Jin to discuss about the 5-year partnership strategies, 2011-2015 and said that the provided loan plays vital role in strengthening and expanding better friendship and cooperation between both governments and people. From 2001 up to now, Korean government has provided loans to Cambodia with the amount of 341.43 million US dollars for implementation of 12 projects; of which 5 has been completed, whereas other 7 are in the process. Regarding the future collaboration, Cambodia’s government is known to have 10 more projects roughly US$ 490 million to propose loans from Korea. (Rasmei Kam.)
