Chinese government decided to grant 49,460,000 Yuan equal to $7.7 million to Cambodia’s Senate in which the construction of new building, President’s office and meeting hall maintenances and electronic and office equipments are included. Two Exchange Notes were signed on 28 November: one was signed by Chinese Ambassador, Phan Guangxue and H.E Tep Ngon, Second Vice President, on additional aids to Cambodia: 3 mini-buses, 5 small-sized photocopy machines, 5 scanners, 30 desktops and phone network totaling 1 million Yuan (150,000 dollars); second note concerning new 3 office buildings covering 4,779 square meters of land and repairing the Senate President’s cabinet and plenary meeting hall plus equipping with air conditioners, furniture and office supplies costing 48,460,000 Yuan ($7.6 million) was signed by Secretary General of Sanate, H.E. Mr. Um Sarith and He Sili, Vice General Manager of Guangdong Foreign Construction Co., Ltd. (Rasmei Kam.)
