1. On September 22, EDCF Evaluation Workshop for National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia(NPIC) was held at Cambodiana hotel.
- This project was designed to develop human resources through construction of technical training facilities, provision of equipment, various kills training and career development program. For this project the Korean government provided 27.7 million USD of soft loan out of the total cost of 34.7 million USD.
2. At the opening remarks, H.E. Mr. Pich Sophoan, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training highly evaluated this project, noting that NPIC now stands for a cradle of high quality of skilled engineers in Cambodia.
3. Participants shared his view that this project has successfully contributed to social and economic development of Cambodia through its human resource development and exchanged opinions on ways to promote NPIC further. /End/
