The Ministry of Public Works and Transport Asks For Road Aid from the Republic of Korea
On 30 December 2010 at 4:00PM at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, there was a dialogue between H.E. Tram Iv Tek, Minister of Public Works and Transport, and 7 Korean delegation (Senate members and officers in charge of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in the Republic of Korea) with the participation from the Secretary of State, Under Secretary of State and Director General of the Ministry. During the meeting, the Minister has raised on the projects Cambodia has implemented so far and challenges of on-going projects. He also asks for aid from Korean delegation including the construction of bridge and unclean water station in Kampot province, the study on master plan of developing two lines of new railroad which 1st line links from Siem Reap to Thailand whereas the 2nd line is to link to Preah Vihea province. In addition, Cambodia has requested Korean delegation to contribute in seeking for measurements to reduce traffic accident in Cambodia as well.
