The Good Earth Japan (GEJ) has
recently granted over US$200,000 for improvement of infrastructure in a
post-mine-cleared community in Battambang’s Borvel district. The grant handover
ceremony was held yesterday with presences of Mr. Tetsuo Mori, Head of GEJ to
Cambodia, and Mr. Heng Ratana, Head of CMAC. The granted aid is for maintenance
of 5-km rural road, construction of a new 1-km rural road and a 7-room academic
building as well as digging 5 ponds. The project will be commenced from 17
