Minister of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MISTI) Hem Vanndy met with a delegation from the World Bank to discuss enhancing public water utilities and supporting private water operators in Cambodia. He thanked the World Bank for their support, especially in the water sector, which is a key priority for the government. Vanndy outlined plans to develop the water sector, focusing on ensuring universal access to clean water. The World Bank confirmed its commitment to these efforts, including through the WASAC project. Vanndy also discussed challenges faced during the dry season, with plans in place to address water shortages. The partnership aims to promote access to clean water and drive economic development in Cambodia.
