Summary
|
The United Kingdom (UK) will provide
US$4.3 million to support mine clearance activities of Cambodia. This is an
additional assistance for Cambodia’s mine clearance activities under the
Second Global Mine Action Programme in Cambodia (GMAP2), which will end in
March 2021, before starting the GMAP3. UK has been contributing to demining
activities covering over 122 square kilometres since 1992. UK will continue
to support Cambodia to achieve the status of landmine-free country by 2025.
