Brief:
Save the Children and Krousar Thmey held an event to promote the accelerating Khmer sign language project on Feb. 28, 2020, which help children with hearing impairment access quality education. It was founded by Australia’s Foreign Affairs Department and Trade. The project aims to support children with profound hearing loss in accessing quality education, to create an enabling environment by providing support to their families and by introducing Khmer sign language lessons to their teachers and fellow students. It benefits to 727 students in five schools in Cambodia.
