PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Japanese government will provide 27.48 million US dollar in grand aid to Cambodia for water and human resource projects in Cambodia, according to a press release by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Thursday.
The aid agreement will be signed on 11 May between Cambodia's Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and Yuji Kumamaru, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, according to the statement.
24.98 million US dollar will be used for implementation of expansion of water supply system in Kampot province, and the remaining 2.47 million US dollar will be used for human resource development scholarship.
