Under economic
cooperation plan, Japanese government awarded Takeo’s Department of Water
Resources and Meteorology US$103,550 for Canal no. 38 rehabilitation project
and the aid agreement was inked on 26 October at the Embassy of Japan. This is
the Grass-roots human security project (KUSANONE grant) from Japanese
