On 19 September,
a retired Brigadier General Jeon In-Goo led his defense facility research
association delegation to visit Cambodia with the aim at seeking understanding
of Cambodia’s mine clearance activities at Cambodia's National Center for
Peacekeeping Forces and ERW Clearance (NPMEC). The delegation also showed its
will to help Cambodia in mine clearance sector. In the meeting, Lieutenant
General Sem Sovanny expressed his pleasure and welcomed all cooperation
initiated by Korean side. Additionally, Cambodian side also requested the
Korean side for visit exchange to absorb experiences in mine clearance sector.
