The Export-Import Bank of China Affirms to Provide Loans to the 7 Requested Projects
The President of Export-Import Bank of China, Mr. Li Ruogu, assured, in 2012, the seven projects requested by Cambodia would be accepted. The Bank also supported and provided loans to Cambodia for infrastructure and irrigation system, worth 500 million USD. During the yesterday’s courtesy call upon PM Hun Sen, Mr. Li underlined his purpose of visit which was to sign 3 projects on 2 February with the Ministry of Economy and Finance including road no. 214, northern road no. 76 and irrigation system. He additionally informed Samdech Hun Sen the US$ 4-billion ASEAN-China fund has now imposed no limit to any countries; therefore, Cambodia can submit more proposals for this credit.
