Cuba To Boost Cooperation on Economy and Trade with Cambodia

Cuba wished to further boost the cooperation on economy and trade with Cambodia.
The remarks were made known by newly-appointed Ambassador of Cuba to Cambodia H.E. Jose Ramon R. Yarona in his meeting here on Jan. 17 with Cambodian First Vice President of Senate Samdech Sisowath Chivoan Monirak.
The Cuban diplomat also told the Senate first vice president that Cuba is willing to help develop and invest in Cambodia’s agricultural field.
In reply, Samdech Chivoan Monirak warmly welcomed the Cuban ambassador’s diplomatic mission to Cambodia and hoped that the cooperation and relationship between both countries will be further consolidated and expanded with every passing day.
Following on the same day, Samdech Sisowath Chivoan Monirak also received newly-appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Cambodia Mr. Mark Gooding.
During the meeting, both sides touched on the strengthening of the ties of friendship and cooperation, especially between the legislative bodies of the two countries, Cambodia and UK.
