The CAMKAA’s 10-year Anniversary was held on 16 December to look over and portray working visions they have done and have to do. Mr. Ly Savuth, Secretary General of CAMKAA said that the association has been established since 2002 under the name of I Love Korea Club with the support from KOICA, and permitted by Ministry of Interior, it has been changed to be CAMKAA since 2007. It aims at strengthening and expanding solidarity between those alumnus sharing experiences and knowledge among alumnus, authority, development partners and people in community. Dr. Shin Eui Cheol said that, as the slogan, “Making a Better World Together”, KOICA’s commitment is to raise Cambodia’s economy and society, and this is the reason why this agent has sent over 300 Cambodian government officials to study economics and IT in Korea for the sake of country’s development upon their returns.
