Cambodian Officials Become Trainers upon the Completion of their Study in Korea

Of 40 officials, trained in Korea under the agreement between Ministry of Rural Development and KOICA, 8 are selected to be the trainers (4 are the main trainers while the rest ones are trainer assistants) in the upcoming year 2012. The main trainers will select other 20 officials to be trained in South Korea for three weeks in order for them to become the next trainers to train 150 provincial and district officials.
The Training of Trainers (TOT) program is organized for the sake of educational development in Cambodia under the cooperation framework between Cambodia and Korea through KOICA with technical support from Korean Rural Community Cooperation (KRC), said Mr. Shin Eui Cheol, Representative of KOICA.
According to Minister of Rural Development, H.E. Mr. Chea Sophara, this training is the fruitful result of cooperation between Ministry of Rural Development and KOICA, which facilitates officials to develop a plan enabling community participation and assure the stability of the projects created for the community.
