DPM Keat Chhon Meets with Chinese Senior Parliamentary Official

At the invitation of Cambodia’s National Assembly, Senior Official of Chinese National Assembly, Mr. Phan Yuk Kien, paid a visit to Cambodia and met with DPM Keat Chhon yesterday. This visit is the encouragement for Cambodia to strengthen and expand ties between both countries. Cambodian government congratulated the recently held East Asia Summit within which Chinese government announced $ 10,000 million loan for ASEAN member countries indicating that China plays vitally important role in developing both regional and global development. It is known that from 1992 up to now, China has promised to lend Cambodia 2,930 million dollars, and that enables Cambodia to develop all sectors. (Rasmei Kam, 22 November 2011.)
