Phnom Penh: Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) will donate Human Resource Development Center project for Royal University of Phnom Penh with the estimated cost of $6.5 million.
According to the press release of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was informed last week that the project was designed with the purpose to improve national competitiveness of Cambodia through human resource development program. For 5 years, expected to start from 2010 to 2014, the project will cover the establishment Human Resource Development Center equipped with modern teaching materials, creating human resource development program including Information Technology, and Technical Training courses, and dispatching Korean experts.
The final agreement over this project will be signed by the both countries after the last seminar to be held on August 31, 2010 which focus on the presentation and discussion of result of basic design study of Cambodia-Korea Human Resource Development Center with all project’s stakeholders such as the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
