On December 11, 2009 at Imperial Hotel, KOICA held 8th CAMKAA Annual Reception.

This event has been organized annually since 2002, and this was the 8th Annual Reception organized by Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAM0KAA) with the financial support from KOICA. CAMKAA invited over 200 government officials who had participated in KOICA’s training programs in Korea to join this event.

The CAMKAA, a big group of participants of KOICA’s training programs, was established in order to promote relationship among participants of KOICA programs and to further contribute to the enhanced friendship between Cambodia and Korea in coming time.

CAMKAA has opened a weblog (http://camkaa.wordpress.com) to exchange information and to introduce its activities among members nation wide.

KOICA’s Development Cooperation Programs have made a significant contribution in human resources development, with a total of 1,452 Cambodian participants invited to Korea from 1994 to 2009 for various training and study courses.

H.E. Cho Won-ho, Vice President of KOICA mentioned “All of KOICA fellows present today are witnesses to the value of these cooperation programs and human resources development, having visited Korea and shared with Korea’s economic, industrial, technological and management experience and expertise, as well as having had the opportunity to glimpse the history and culture of the country and its people. You have all become dear friends of Korea by playing an invisible, but important role in linking our two countries closer together.
