Minister of Health Appreciates Cambodian Alumni who have studied in Korea

Phnom Penh: Prof. Dr. Mam Bunheng, Minister of the Ministry of Health apprecited Cambodian Alumni who have studied in Korea for studying very hard and coming back to work.
Minister of Health stated to the Cambodian Alumni at Imperial Garden Hotel last December 11, 2009 that human resources development was very important in order to gain knowledge to develop the nation. Therefore, studying in the developed countries for developing our country was responded to the rectangular Strategy Phase II of the Royal Government of Cambodia under the brilliant leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He added that “I would like to highly appreciate all the Cambodian alumni who have tried to study hard in order to assist to develop our country according to your own skills”.
Prof. Chhour Y Meng, President of Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA) said that we could witness eyes that the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Korea has been continuing the diplomatic relations and good friendship cooperation with many achievements such as: politics, economics, society, culture, tourism etc.
He continued to say that “I would take this opportunity to deeply thank the Republic of Korea who has shared development experience, modern technology as well as fund to Cambodia to develop economy and people welfare”.
Mr. Cho Won-ho, Vice President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) stressed that a total of 1,452 Cambodian participants were invited to Korea from 1994 to 2009.
He added that according to experience shows that the most important way for developing a country’s social-economy is to focus on human resources development.
