Phnom Penh: Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) provided US$ 33,926 worth of medical equipments to anesthesiology recovery ward in Calmette Hospital on May 2, 2008.
Mr. Kim Byung-gwan, Representative of KOICA said that medical equipments that provided to anesthesiology recovery ward in Calmette Hospital were worth US$ 33,926.
Prof. Heng Tay Kry, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health and Director of Calmette Hosptial expressed his deep thanks to Mr. Kim Byung-gwan and staff members whose always support and provide medical treatment to patients in this Calmette Hospital. “This is a humanitarian concern of KOICA which we would remember and we would never forget”.
Prof. Heng Tay Kry also reminded that this time was the second time that KOICA has provided medical equipments to Calmette Hospital.
He [Prof. Heng Tay Kry] informed that KOICA had provided medical equipments such as Spiro meter and has dispatched volunteers to work in this hospital for many years.
Prof. Heng Tay Kry went on to say that this generous donation of KOICA could assist in helping Calmette Hospital much more effective on anesthesiology recovery ward
