Government to Grant Aid Over 33 Million USD for the Three Projects in Cambodia

Phnom Penh: The Japanese government to grant aid of 33.90 million
USD to Cambodia. On 21 March 2013, DPM Hor Namhong, Minister of
Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and
H.E. Yuji KUMAMARU, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, will sign
the Exchange of Notes and Record of Discussions on the extension of Japanese
Grand Aid to Cambodia up to the amount of 3.123 million Yen (33.90 million USD)
for the implementation of three projects. 1. The implementation of the project
for improvement of Sihanouk province referral hospital approximately worth
1.321 million Yen (14.33 million USD).
2. The implementation of the project for construction and rehabilitation
of small hydropower plants in Rattanakiri province approximately worth 1.206
million Yen (13.10 million USD). 3. The
project for improvement of facility and laboratory equipment in the Institute
of Technology of Cambodia worth over 596 million Yen (6.47 million USD).
