Japanese
government granted US$123,340 to Kampong Cham Referral Hospital for
constructing a training centre inside the hospital and signing ceremony was
held on 12 October. This is the Japan’s grant assistance for grass-root human
security projects (Kusanone grant) commenced since 1991 to support Cambodia’s
development in grass-root level. From 1991, Japanese government has provided
almost US$50 M to local authorities and NGOs to implement 400 projects
