KOICA will
help Cambodia’s Ministry of Planning in developing a National Science
and Technology Master Plan 2014-2020, worth around US$20 million. During
yesterday consultation workshop, there were Korean science and
technology experts presenting about Korea’s science and technology in
the past 60 years, agricultural science and technology development and
Korean people’s income through the advancement of science and
technology. Senior Minister of Planning Chhay Than indicated that this
master plan is acceptable for all the 12 relevant ministries and a good
start for Cambodia as science and technology offer great advantages for
many sectors specifically agriculture, animal raising, primary industry
and IT.
