Governments
of Cambodia and China inked 7 agreements, worth US$400 million, on economic and
trade cooperation yesterday under presidencies of PM Hun Sen and Mr. He
Guoqiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau
of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, following their
bilateral talks. Below are the 7 agreements:
- DPM Keat Chhon and Liu Liange, Vice President of China Exim Bank inked the US$248.8-million Preferential Buyer Credit Loan Agreement on Extension of National Road No. 6 Project (Phase II),
- US$80.3-million Preferential Buyer Credit Loan Agreement on National Road No. 44 Rehabilitation Project,
- US$102-million Preferential Buyer Credit Loan Agreement on Battambang Multipurpose Dam Development Project,
- And MoU on Preferential Buyer Credit Loan and Government Concessional Loan for Three-Five Years Cooperation Plan.
- US$550,000 Agreement on the Project of Phnom Penh Anglong Kgnan Health Center Building was signed by Mam Bun Heng, Minister of Health and Ji Ping, Deputy Secretary General of China Foundation for Peace and Development.
- US$2-million Commercial Contract on the Hotline and Traffic Control Project was inked by Dul Koeurn, General Director of Supplies and Finance of Ministry of Interior and Yang Hua, President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group of SEA.
- Certificate of Delivery and Receipt of 2 units of MA 60 aircrafts was signed by Lt. Gen. Chau Phirun, Director General of the General Department of Materials and Techniques of Cambodian Ministry of National Defense and Chen Jian, Vice Minister of Commerce of China. Based on foreign documents, MA 60 is a kind of transportation aircraft worth more than 11 million USD. Besides, PM Hun Sen and He Guoqiang visited Sihanouk special economic zone. (Rasmei Kam.)
