Summary	New Zealand provided Cambodia a NZ$5.9 million ($3.8 million) grant to assist mine-clearing operations for six years in Battambang, BanteayMeanchey and Pailin provinces. Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and secretary-general of the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) Ly Thuch said New Zealand joins a long list of other countries and organisations contributing to mine clearance in Cambodia.

Summary	Asia Development Bank (ADB) provided a $7.64 million loan to build a 60-megawatt (mW) solar station in Kampong Chhnang province this year. The 60 mW project is part of a 100 mW National Solar Park and is structured as a public-private partnership. The nation’s leading power supplier, Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) is providing the land and transmission access, while the private sector will provide power generation capacity based on a long-term power purchase agreement with EDC.

Summary	The United Kingdom (UK) will provide US$4.3 million to support mine clearance activities of Cambodia. This is an additional assistance for Cambodia’s mine clearance activities under the Second Global Mine Action Programme in Cambodia (GMAP2), which will end in March 2021, before starting the GMAP3. UK has been contributing to demining activities covering over 122 square kilometres since 1992. UK will continue to support Cambodia to achieve the status of landmine-free country by 2025.
