AKP Phnom Penh, March 24, 2014 –
The Government of Japan has decided to extend its ODA Grant Aid of
around US$11.5 million to the Royal Government of Cambodia for the
implementation of the Project for Expansion of National Maternal and
Child Health Care.
The grant aid is in response to the request from the Royal Government
of Cambodia and with a view to strengthening friendly and cooperative
relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Cambodia, according to a
press release from the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia.
Notes to this effect will be exchanged here on Mar. 26 between
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation H.E. Hor Namhong and Ambassador of Japan to
Cambodia H.E. Kumamaru Yuji.
