EU Provides 36.5 Thousand Million
Riel Aids for Education Sector
Phnom Penh: EU has provided 6.9 million euros equal to
36.5 thousand million riel to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. The
handover ceremony was held on 30 January 2013 between Ambassador Jean-François
Cautain, head of the EU delegation to Cambodia, and Mr. Em Sithy, Minister of
Education, Youth and Sport.
Ambassador Jean-François Cautain
said “In 2011, we have provided 7.7 million euros equal to 41 thousand million
riel to government, and last month, we have provided 6.9 million euros equal to
36.5 thousand million riel (Kampuchea Tmey).
