Brief: According
to local media release in AKP that [Japan Provides US$7 Million to Support Economic
and Development Program]: On February 21, 2018, Cambodia and Japan signed the
Exchange of Notes and Record of Discussions on the extension of Grant Aid up to
the amount of US$7 million. This grant aid will be used to implement the
economic and social development program, in the framework of which, the
Government of Japan will provide 15,000 ballot boxes as well as
other necessary equipment to the National Election Committee (NEC) for
the upcoming general election to be held in July.
